Mechanics of fight
On 25 man we need 8 people as ranged , otherwise Vile gas can hit in melee , which normally means a wipe.
These ranged people need to be at least 8 yards apart. (Note could try being in pairs, one just inside the other).
The remainder of group stay stacked at the melee position, very close to tanks (no cleave to worry about).
Raid damage
Pungent blight, if you don't get the spore inoculations, this will kill you.
Gaseous Blight - 4k constant ticks of raid wide damage every 2 seconds, cannot be avoided. All raid need heals.
Vile gas falls in an area and affects 1 person making them vomit. Damage 5k every 2 seconds for 6 seconds. If anyone is within 8 yeards they will also be hit with 4k damage. Vile Gas can be broken prematurely with a PvP trinket, Every Man for Himself, Ice Block, or Divine Shield.
Gas Spores (most important)
Three will come in 25 mans.
The Spore will explode after 12 seconds, inflicting 1,950 to 2,050 damage to all nearby friends. The damage from the Gas Spore builds the targets immune system, giving them a 25% resistance to pungent blight for 2 minutes. Stacks up to 3 times.
DBM marks people who get these spores.
* The person with skull runs to tanks.
* Person with X runs to ranged at the door, all ranged run to this position too.
* The person with square runs away from rest of raid.
Everyone back to your original position once the spore has exploded.
Your role
Raid leader
Make sure everyone knows who healers & tanks are.
ALL -
Prepare for this fight beforehand, read about it etc.
Let the RL set the tactics, listen carefully, keep chat channel clear whilst tactics being done. Ask if you do not understand anything.
It is a DPS race.
You must watch for the gas spores and act accordingly to make sure everyone gets their innoculations, stop everything else and move to posiition. Run straight back after.
Watch if a ranged dies, we need to always have 8 outside or we may wipe. Someone from the melee area will need to take their place.
Ranged keep your 8 yards distance.
Tanks
Must swap aggro at correct time (8 or 9 stacks). They should inform the raid when they are swapping so that healers have time to react and heal new tank.
Healers
Ranged healer should pop hots on all ranged.
Watch for people getting Vile gas and heal them.
Melee healers. Tanks get big hits but also the melee people will need heals due to the Gaseous blight ticks.
What we are doing wrong.
1) We initially had too many healers (7 I think).
2) Some people died from pungent blight, you did not get the gas spore inoculations.
3) Ranged need healing when they get Vile gas.
4) We did not keep the ranged at 8 when people died, thus Gaseous blight occurred in the melee area and killed people there.
5) Range need to keep 8 yards gap.
OVERALL, DON'T LOSE HOPE!!!
